Seaside Villa in Treasure Beach Review – 2022

WHERE TO STAY IN TREASURE BEACH: SEASIDE VILLA JAMAICA

THE ATMOSPHERE

Seaside Villa is a lovely hidden gem that can be found on Old Wharf Road in Treasure Beach, Jamaica. The property hosts a swimming pool that goes about 6ft deep, a gazebo, 7 bedrooms, and 2 kitchens. Now on my way there, I wasn’t sure what to expect I just know that some time was needed away from home. You can see from you get there that the property was well-groomed with a lovely garden. Upon arriving I was greeted by the property manager, housekeeper, and groundsman who went through the necessary COVID Protocols and then showed me around.

The beauty of the villa is that it is one big house but how you use it is optional, you can get the entire villa, and you can just get a room. you can get the entire first floor or the entire second floor. It is therefore convenient for just a simple getaway,a family getaway, retreats and also company events.

COVID 19 PROTOCOL

I really love the fact that the whole COVID Protocols were taken seriously here because now during this time is when most people are seeking those getaways and staycations to kind of get around the curfew hours and regulations. Upon arrival I was directed to the gazebo where my temperature was checked and my hands sanitized before going through some questions just to ensure all safety measures. Also even the rooms were in line with the protocols as it related to bedding. I definitely felt comfortable with this process at Seaside Villa because I saw the importance of it.

THE ROOM

Now where to begin, each room has its own unique flavor to it, and the decor styles which I believe were creative. The rooms had different colors one thing that you saw around was the artistic lizards that pose on the walls for you to admire. I attached a picture for you to see…not real lizards so don’t get scared lol. There were many different art pieces around the house each bringing its own vibe to the place.

Not to mention the color themes in each room. Due to COVID restrictions in some of the pictures, you can’t see the full beauty of it as some pieces had to be removed but all in all the ambiance of the place was great. Another thing that I noticed was that the place was cool and nice, in the open areas other than out the pool of course it was nice and cool no air conditioning was needed at the time. Another great thing is that Wi-Fi was available throughout the entire house even if you went outside to the pool.

FOOD

Another great perk is that though there are kitchens present, you don’t have to cook if you do not need to. A service offered by Seaside Villa is that they give you the option of them preparing your meals for you, whether you want to take the items and they cook, or you can just tell them the things you need and plan for it.

STAFF

The villa I believe can be seen as a home away from home, it is an ideal location for you to visit with family, friends or even coworkers for events such as retreats or team-building weekends.
