Is it safe to explore?

For the most part Manchester is pretty safe, just like some areas though you just have to be super careful, or not visit at all. Or do most activities with friends if you are unsure. However, I didn’t see any issues of had any issues there.

What is Manchester Jamaica known for?

Manchester is known mostly for the Bauxite Mining Industry, but it is also seen as the coolest parish on the island. Manchester has a lot of history behind it so because of that it is actually known for quite a few things. Back in 2013 according to this Gleaner article it was considered the Happiest Parish in Jamaica, do you think it still is?

  1. Great post & thanks for the shout out! As a Manchester resident for 2 years, I’ve now done 16/25 🥰 The caves & the airbnb/hotel aren’t on my list, but the rest certainly are. Hopefully I can visit Sea Riv next month!
