CHIVE RESTAURANT
Chive Restaurant can be found in Orchid Village Plaza, located in Kingston Jamaica. It has always been a favorite of mine because of its variety and flavors! When I say flavors I mean flavorsssss!
THE AMBIANCE
Now upon entering the restaurant there is a lovely spot where you can take photos close to the sign and a long bench where you can just sit on the outside and relax. Chive offers indoor and outdoor dining, however, I am not sure how that stands currently with the whole COVID situation. However as it relates to indoor dining Chive brings a lovely intimate setting, I believe it’s great for a brunch, date night, or even girls’ night out.

The thing that I also value about this restaurant is that on a few instances when I visited the menu wasn’t exactly the same, their menu is usually seasonal, however again COVID may have affected that. What I can guarantee you is that I have never been disappointed by the food here and I honestly don’t think I will ever be. Make sure you let me know in the comment section if you ever had food there and what were your thoughts. They are usually opened from Tuesday to Sunday, timing may vary due to the Pandemic.
CHIVE RESTAURANT PRICING/COST
In my opinion, I would consider this restaurant an affordable one but also this is strong to say that maybe it is the best I have had in Kingston. ($$)
TAKEOUT SERVICES
The staff at Chive restaurant is very welcoming and friendly. They do provide Takeout services so make sure, quarantine or not, you order! 😁
BRUNCH MENU OPEN
When I first wrote this article the Brunch Menu was non-existent but in the past couple of months they have decided to add an amazing brunch menu. Also as I stated before one of my favorite things about here is how the menu sometimes changes and what amuses me all the time is that the new additions tend to be even better, they are continuously growing and evolving as a business and I am here for it.

I had a date here recently and it was great. Only issue was really the lighting. I felt they’d do better with reducing outdoor lighting and placing lamps over each table to give it a personal/ intimate feel but otherwise the food was great with good portions too.
