WORTHY PARK ESTATE – JAMAICAN RUM
In the cool hills of Lluidas Vale, Jamaica you can find the Worthy Park Estate which offers the Rum Tour Experience of a lifetime. The experience was a first for me as I had never done one before…(I don’t know why) but now I am more than excited to share the fact that I believe everyone should take this tour because I learned so much from it. Also if you are someone who drinks rum I think it is important for you to learn about it, even if you don’t. I won’t give you the details of the tour as I really want you to go and get the full experience for yourself.
WORTHY PARK ESTATE RUM TOUR
The tour gave us a chance to really get an understanding of the amazing history behind the Worthy Park Estate as in how long ago it started. The history behind it is so interesting especially when learning about the rum and the aging process. As you know Worthy Park Estate is known for Worthy Park Rum as well as Rum-Bar. I even recently found out that there is a rum-bar green apple vodka which has now been added to my – to try list.
There were several steps throughout the tour:
✔ Welcome cocktail.
✔ Then we got to sample some sugar cane, sugar, molasses,and sugar cane juice.
✔ Virtual tour of the sugar factory.
✔ After that we got a change to see the aging area, bottling facility and the distillery.

Worthy Park Estate Rum Tour details are as follows:
Monday – Friday: 10am or 2pm (Based on Reservations)
Time: 90 Minutes
Cost:
$20 for Jamaican Residents (with ID)
$25 for Non-Residents
(They do sometimes have specials throughout the year where tours may be available on other days)

STAFF AT WORTHY PARK ESTATE
The staff there was so kind and friendly. We were given the tour by Shunna-Gay who was very friendly and kind and made sure we had a fun time. As for me, I am a very clumsy individual and so while there I had a little accident (I won’t share) and as a result of my clumsy behavior, they told me not to worry about it.
