Is Lashings Boutique Hotel the fun hotspot, or not? Everyone says, what’s the hype with Lashings Boutique Hotel, I see everyone going there? I can tell you the hype is well deserved. It is definitely a hotspot of 2020. THE ATMOSPHERE

When I went it was during the week and because of that the place was really empty I remember at one point it was literally just me in the pool and I loved that. The pool was so nice and pristine I enjoyed every minute of it. As you can see from the photos that from Lashings there is a great view that can be seen by relaxing at the edge of their infinity pool. Do remember though that Lashings Boutique Hotel does have more than one pool.

The entire property kind of makes you feel kind of at home. There is even a cute little puppy on the property that you can spot in different locations at times. I am not sure what it is like when the place is full but I am sure it is just as fun. I am a bit anti-crowd because of COVID so I am happy I went when I did. So I know for sure the weekdays are nice and quiet.

COVID19 PROTOCOL

I know with COVID19 out there many people are skeptical as it relates to traveling or visiting different places or hotels etc. To be honest I saw where the protocols were in place there, they had the sanitization station from check-in point as well temperature check, I also received a small bottle of sanitizer along with a little infographic about what to do in any event I don’t feel well so Kudos to Lashing Boutique Hotel on that for sure.

THE ROOM

Let’s talk about this for a second. Did you know that no two rooms at Lashings Boutique Hotel are the same? I love that. I really loved the decor in the room, the details that went into it, and the overall ambiance of it. It really gave you that Jamaican vibe with little quotes and signs here and there.

I LOVED the bathroom style it was pretty much open in terms of the toilet on one side and the shower on the other. I remember video calling someone and he said…’So where is the shower curtain?’ lol. The only thing is you wouldn’t want to be bathing while someone is doing number 2…just saying. Overall though I enjoyed it and to be honest I didn’t need any fan or AC because the place was already so cool for me.

THE FOOD – LASHINGS RESTAURANT MENU

Now you guys knowww the foodie in me could not leave out the restaurant details. SO Lashings Boutique Hotel is not All Inclusive at the moment but they do boast an on-site restaurant called Lashings Treetop Bar, Grill and Pizzeria. The name says it all. They offer great gourmet Pizzas, what I do like about the menu is that they have a little for everyone, Seafood lovers, pasta lovers, wings lovers etc. The food items are quoted in US pricing and it was worth the price as the quantity was right as well as the heavenly taste that they had. The cutest thing for me is how you get your bill at the restaurant in a little book. Very creative!

THE STAFF

The staff there both at the restaurant as well as within the hotel itself was pretty good. The check-in part took a little for someone to come out but other than that it was great service, they were kind and friendly. I had a waiter at the restaurant that was so kind and made sure I was enjoying my meal and that I was ok. I truly appreciate that anywhere I go.
