Kingston Night Market takes place at Hillcrest Avenue in Kingston Jamaica. If you are looking for somewhere to just wind down a bit especially after a rough day, I think Kingston Night Market (KNM) is a great place to do that. It’s a weekly popup market with a variety of displays from upcoming artisans. Remember to subscribe so you can stay up to date with all that is going on.
WHAT IS KNM ALL ABOUT?
It is all about Art, Fashion, Music, Culture, and of course Food! It showcases some of the new and upcoming persons in these different areas. As it is called Kingston Night Market because it is held in the evening from 5 pm till 11 pm. There is no cost to attend it is FREE. However, it’s great to support the different persons by getting something that you like or something that interests you from their booth.

It is if not the highlight for most people as you will find variety of new, upcoming and even more seasoned restaurants or food options. They have for everyone even vegans and vegetarians. So if you are going go hungry so you can enjoy some food there.
✔ There is entertainment while you shop. KNM is family friendly so it offers music and performances that are suitable for the kids too. There is sometimes live music, dance performances and more that you can enjoy while you shop around.
✔ If you love shopping and art and you want to see different styles then for sure, this is the place to be. It offers a great shopping experience as you will vendors with items that are sure to catch your eyes.
SAFETY TIPS FOR KINGSTON NIGHT MARKET
- Keep all your belongs safe and secure, don’t leave anything unattended, especially in areas that are more crowded.
- If you are not driving, make some transportation plans so as to avoid walking on the lonely streets alone at night.
- Be respectful.
Jamaica has some very talented individuals and I think starting to have this event was an excellent idea.
