Dezerland Action Park Orlando is a haven for family fun and I mean extreme fun, especially during the Christmas Holiday season. It has an extremely wide range of activities for kids of all ages and adults alike. It is the perfect place for a day out. It ranges from awesome go-kart racing to jump parks to carousels. There is somethings for everyone regardless of your age. Throughout this post let’s talk about some of the fun activities you can do in Orlando Florida at Dezerland Action Park.
THINGS TO DO AT DEZERLAND ACTION PARK
Fun at the Auto Museum
If you like cars then you definitely want to check out the Auto Museum. It has a great collection of classic cars for you to enjoy and have some great photo ops. You will feel like you stepped back in time as you go through the plethora of vintage cars. You will get the chance to see iconic models like even the Batmobile 😁, or Princess Diana’s car which would allow for some amazing photos. So definitely stop here if you are a car enthusiast.
What is also great about this is that they also have some interactive exhibits so for the young ones they can immerse themselves in the Hollywood Car Collection and reliving scenes from some of their favorite movies.
Adventure Awaits in the Arcade
Dezerland has an arcade which includes your usual fun arcade game collections for you and your family. They have games for all ages, even some classics such as Pac-Man and Space Invaders if you know what I am talking about or even some that are a bit more modern like Mario Kart and Dance Dance Revolution which might I say were some of my favorites from ever since. As you step in there are so many lights and sounds happening at once you will just stop for a second in amazement and take it all in. Full on entertainment at its best.
What makes it even better is of course being an arcade, as you get deeper and deeper into the realm of games your goal is to of course have fun but rack up as much points as you can get. Many of the games will allow or offer you the chance to earn tickets as you play. Then once you have your ticket collection you can go to the prize counter and claim your rewards, how fun is that! The more points of course the better and more extravagant the reward.
The Thrill of Go-Kart Racing
Go-kart racing is an exciting activity that is great for the whoe family, if their are really young kids then they can do the bumper cars. Dezerland Orlando offers age appropriate tracks for a safe experience. All tracks are designed to be challenging but at the same time safe for everyone. Before you even start the race the staff emphasizes the importance of safety to you especially children and then provided with all the important and necessary equipment such as helmets and whatever protective gear is needed.
Mini Golf: Putt-Putt With a Twist
Playing mini-golf is a great way to spend time with your family. The fun thing though about Putting Edge are also the colors, how everything glows in the dark and just makes it even more attractive for the children. It therefore opens the mind not just for mini-golf but also for imaginative play especially with the fact that it has a theme. So get together with your family and make it a friendly family competition. I am sure everyone would enjoy it. As you go through the course which is both challenging and exciting, having some competition makes it more fun and exciting.
Bounce into Action at the Jump Park
At Dezerland Orlando, Jump Start offers a wide range of activities that go way beyond just jumping around, they also have different areas for different age groups to kind of help your little ones to not get trampled. There are games you can play such as dodgeball, basketball and fun in the foam pit. So whether it is your first time or you have been there before you will have a blast jumping. This is maybe my favorite thing. My only recommendation is that you ensure you wear something you can comfortably jump in and have a blast!!!

Dining Options for Everyone
It is more than important to ensure that everyone is properly fueled and satisfied when having a great day at Dezerland Orlando. They have quite a few options as to where you can eat, whether you just feel for a snack or you want to full on dine, both options are available to you with varied menus from the different places, hence something for everyone. They also have sweet treats for the kids, from ice-cream to milkshakes and more. Sounds great right!! One thing though the place is really big so you may miss a few things.
Planning Your Visit to Dezerland in Orlando Florida
I visited here during the Christmas holiday season and they definitely transformed a section into Santas areas. We also went in the afternoon hours, on a Saturday. To my surprise it was full but not overwhelmingly full, if you know me, I don’t do so well with crowds but it was quite good there. However my assumption would be of course to go for weekdays as that is less likely to be crowded as people have other major priorities during the week, such as work. I don’t remember coming across any major lines but for the golfing place there was a wait time.

Now to ensure you have a stress free day make sure you take all the important things you need to keep your little one comfortable throughout the experience. Water for sure is my biggest recommendation to keep them totally hydrated as they explore the wonders of Dezerland Orlando. You can choose to bring snacks and food or get it their but either way don’t let your kids get HANGRY while there. Also just incase bring a little first aid kit in case any small mishaps happen. Though I doubt anything will, but it is better to be prepared than sorry.
At the entrance you are greeted with a map of the park so I would say strategize together as to what and how you will take on this massive adventure and maybe how long you will stay in each area, where the restrooms are, the dining areas, queit areas…everything…clearly…yes I am a planner. Then get your adventure started. I would prioritize the must-see attractions overall or your must-see attractions t in all this nothing is wrong with being flexible with the schedule. It’s all good.

I am sure we missed a few things. I know they have a few shops where you can purchase different things as well as they have other attractions as your walk around like a Carousel for kids to enjoy or VR games to just sit and enjoy. I believe they also have a cinema and a bowling arena and much more.
